Lobby

Guests enter the hotel through a set of elegant etched-glass doors on the building’s south side, then ascend a stairway carpeted in red velvet. A unique Argentinean chandelier hangs at the top of the stairway. To the left of the landing sits the Lobby, which features a vast embossed-tin ceiling and is decorated with exquisite antique furnishings, including a fireplace with a magnificent handcrafted walnut mantel.

		The Lobby has also doubled as a hall for weddings, large parties, seminars, meetings, and other social engagements. Furthermore, to the south of the Lobby sits the quaint Breakfast Room, a perfect place for intimate parties. In the hallway between the Lobby and the Guest Rooms hang sparkling reproduction gas lamps and black-and-white photos of the original Bailey Hotel, as well as other images of Humboldt's historic past.
